On May 31, Tsinghua PBCSF-FCSSC 1st "Training for Financial Leaders of Developing Countries" entered its second day. High-ranking governmental financial and economic officials from 19 developing countries headed to Tangshan, Hebei Province this morning for a visit to CRRC Tangshan Co., Ltd. (CRRC Tangshan).
In the conference hall of CRRC Tangshan, the two sides had a heated discussion. Yu Weiping, Vice President of CRRC Corporation Limited, presided over the meeting. Following the meeting, Chairman Hou Zhigang, Vice President Zhen Dawei, Deputy Party Secretary Chen Liang and Huang Liewei, Deputy General Manager of the Overseas Business Development of CRRC Tangshan showed the trainees around the enterprise.

Following the meeting, led by the staff of CRRC Tangshan, the trainees visited the production site of CRRC. From the body shop to the assembly shop and the commissioning shop, they acquired deep knowledge of how EMUs are assembled.
Seeing the tidy and orderly shops, the trainees praised the management and efficiency of Chinese enterprises. In the commissioning shop, they posed for photos before assembled EMUs.
To experience the convenience and comfort of Chinese EMUs, the trainees took a high-speed EMU from Tangshan to Beijing South Railway Station in their return to Beijing. Manufactured by CRRC Tangshan, with a maximum speed of 380kph, the 16-unit EMU has ten innovative technologies and is known as a "national icon". Its technical indicators such as operation speed, safety, reliability, comfort and environmental friendliness, as well as its economic indicators such as life cycle cost are up to world leading standards. Learning that the trip takes nearly three hours by bus, but only around one hour by EMU, the trainees showed their envy of the development of Chinese high-speed rail.
